542: End Yard Blindness For Good, with Aviro360
Ilhan Kolko of Aviro360 is a technologist with over 20 years of experience at the intersection of logistics and technology, specializing in both software and hardware-integrated solutions. He explains that the core industry challenge is "yard blindness"—a lack of real-time data that leads to inefficiencies, safety risks, and decision latency. Kolko advocates for creating a "system of reality" that works alongside existing systems of record (like a TMS or WMS) to provide accurate, actionable visibility. He stresses that this approach empowers teams to move from reactive firefighting to predictable, automated performance, ultimately improving safety, reducing costs, and enhancing the driver experience.

Today I’m joined by Aviro360, a company that is on a mission to turn yards and terminals into automated, predictable, and high-performing operations.
Aviro360 delivers real-time yard visibility that empowers operators to run safer, faster, and more predictable operations. Built by people who understand the complexities of yard and terminal environments, Aviro360 uses AI-vision, automation, and infrastructure-light hardware to capture what’s happening now, anticipate what’s next, and support decisive action.
Today, Ilhan Kolko, President and Managing Director at Aviro360, will be talking all about Aviro360 and what they do; why yard blindness is causing decision latency; how a lack of shared visibility is impacting everybody’s time, money and reputation; and how better visibility and clearer decision-making with Aviro is helping teams move from reactive execution to predictable performance.
