572: Built to Evolve: Rethinking Warehouse Management for Modern Operations, with Made4net
Amit Levy is the co-founder and EVP of Sales and Strategy at Made4net, bringing nearly 30 years of experience in supply chain technology. He co-founded Made4net in 2005 with the vision to provide an affordable, adaptable, and highly configurable Warehouse Management System (WMS) for mid-market businesses that were underserved by expensive, rigid enterprise solutions. Levy emphasizes the importance of a unified platform that breaks down operational silos by integrating everything from yard management to last-mile delivery. He advises businesses to look beyond feature checklists when selecting a WMS and instead focus on future-proofing their operations with scalable technology that is ready for automation and can evolve with the business.

Today I’m joined by a company that set out to make warehouse technology more configurable, scalable and accessible: Made4net.
Made4net is a leading provider of warehouse management and supply chain execution software. Through its SCExpert platform, Made4net brings together warehouse management, labor management, yard management, routing and last mile delivery in one unified solution, helping retailers, manufacturers, 3PLs, grocery and food and beverage businesses and distributors run more efficient, automation-ready operations.
Today, Amit Levy, Co-Founder and EVP of Sales and Strategy at Made4net, joins me to talk about Made4net and what they do; why warehouse technology needs to be configurable and scalable, not rigid; what companies should really be thinking about when it comes to WMS selection and modernization; and how warehouses can get ready for automation, robotics – and whatever else is going to come next.
