448: Bridging the Gap Between Operations and Technology, with Buckeye Mountain
Greg Dunnell is the co-founder of Buckeye Mountain, a transportation technology company with over 25 years of experience in the supply chain industry. His career began with hands-on roles like truck driving before he transitioned into technology, working with major names like BNSF on large-scale digitization projects. Dunnell emphasizes the critical need to merge technology with operations, advocating for on-site tech experts (TechOps) who understand the challenges of frontline workers. He recounts co-founding Buckeye Mountain to provide full-service technology support and shares the origin story of their innovative, solar-powered Rapid Deploy solution, which was created to rebuild an intermodal facility after a hurricane.
