A FEW USEFUL ANSWERS

Questions?
Start here.

About the score, membership,
and your next step.

What does the Authority Score represent?

The Council Authority Index is designed to bring together evidence of experience, expertise, authority, and trust, alongside qualifying industry-group membership and participation. It helps explain a professional’s record and industry standing. The profiles and totals shown here are fictional examples; final scoring weights are still being defined.

Does membership buy a higher score?

The proposed framework gives weight to qualifying industry-group memberships and participation, including additional weight for qualifying LTSC community activity. Membership can therefore influence a score, including where that membership is paid. It does not purchase a particular total. Professional evidence and review also matter, and final eligibility and weighting rules remain to be defined.

Does my work outside Let’s Talk Supply Chain count?

The framework considers relevant work beyond LTSC, including roles, projects, published expertise, independent references, and industry-group participation. The proposed policy gives additional weight to qualifying LTSC activity. Evidence and review determine how a contribution is treated under the final methodology.

Will my score or profile become public?

The planned numerical assessment is a private member experience. Public profile presentation is a separate step with consent, permissions, review, and publication requirements. Public profile publication and live numerical assessments are not available in this preview. A high score does not itself authorize publication.

Who can apply for membership?

Supply-chain practitioners, executives, founders, and specialists with relevant experience and a perspective to contribute can apply independently of their employer. Membership is by application and invitation. The Council reviews applications before issuing an invitation; applying is not acceptance.

Are publishing or guest appearances guaranteed?

No. Full Thought Leader Membership includes 2 expert-contributor opportunities and 4 dedicated blog opportunities under the current offer. Editorial review applies. Potential Thoughts and Coffee guest opportunities depend on topic, editorial fit, and availability. Benefit periods, start dates, and terms are confirmed before acceptance.

How is Enterprise different from individual membership?

Enterprise programs combine LTSC media credits with included planned profile and individual assessment places. Those places do not include full Thought Leader Membership. Full membership separately adds editorial contribution opportunities and full Secret Society of Supply Chain access. The Enterprise page explains allocations and terms.

What happens after I apply?
